Tool Academy's third season will begin with eight men and two women, who have secretly been enrolled in the relationship boot camp by their significant other with the hopes of rehabilitating and schooling them in proper behavior such as honesty, fidelity, maturity and communication.

In each episode, the contestant who shows the least amount of progress is eliminated from the competition and then has to plead his or her case to their significant other -- who will then decides whether to keep them or kick them to the curb.

At the conclusion of the series, one contestant will win the $100,000 cash prize.

Host Jordan Murphy and relationship counselor Trina Dolenz will both reprise their roles for the new edition, which will also include Tool Academy's first same-sex couple and a "surprise wedding," according to VH1.

Tool Academy is executive produced by SallyAnn Salsano and her 495 Productions production company.
