''Til Death Do Us Part' couple Dave Navarro and Carmen Electra split

Rock star Dave Navarro and his Hollywood wife, Carmen Electra, have announced an "amicable separation" after 2 1/2 years of marriage.

They were married in November of 2003 in a wedding documented on the MTV reality show "'Til Death Do Us Part: Carmen & Dave," People Magazine reported Tuesday.
The couple had repeatedly denied reports their union was on the rocks and Navarro was by his wife's side at the New York City premiere of Scary Movie 4 on April 10.
"We're fine! I'm not saying we have the perfect marriage or that we're the perfect couple, but we're pretty damn good," Electra told People that same month.
Electra, 34, whose real name is Tara Leigh Patrick, was married for about four months to former pro basketball star Dennis Rodman back in 1998. Navarro, 39, who can currently be seen on CBS' "Rock Star: Supernova," has been married three times.
