The Voice eliminated four artists and determined the seventeenth season's Top 4 finale contenders during Tuesday night's live results broadcast on NBC.

The Voice Results began with host Carson Daly announcing the three artists who had received the most home viewer votes following Monday night's Top 8 performance show and were therefore definitely advancing to next week's final performance show.

Those lucky artists were Katie Kadan, a 38-year-old from Chicago, IL, from John Legend's team; Ricky Duran, a 29-year-old from Austin, TX, from Blake Shelton's team; and Jake Hoot, a 31-year-old from Cookeville, TN, from Kelly Clarkson's team.

The two singers who unfortunately received the fewest number of votes and were automatically eliminated as a result were Will Breman, a 25-year-old from Santa Barbara, CA, and Marybeth Byrd, an 18-year-old from Armorel, AR, both from "Team Legend."

The remaining three artists from the Top 8 -- Hello Sunday, a duo comprised of Myla Finks, a 14-year-old from Atlanta, GA, and Chelsea Glover, a 13-year-old from Atlanta, GA, from "Team Kelly;" Kat Hammock, an 18-year-old from Encinitas, CA, from "Team Blake;" and Rose Short, a 34-year-old from Killeen, TX, from Gwen Stefani's team -- were in jeopardy of elimination but afforded the opportunity to sing for the night's one and only "Instant Save."

After all three artists performed a song for survival last night, America voted via the show's "Instant Save" format to keep Rose in the competition.

"This is the first time in seven seasons all four coaches will have an artist in our finale," Carson revealed.

Hello Sunday kicked off the elimination format by taking the stage with "Chandelier" by Sia, and all four coaches gave them a standing ovation.

Kelly gushed about how the young girls are tackling huge Sia and Celine Dion songs. Kelly begged America to vote for them, saying she had such a great team this season.

Kat then sang "You've Got a Friend" by James Taylor.

Blake told Kat this competition is tough and he wanted her to know she's "got a record to make no matter what happens here tonight."

Blake said the coaches and America have discovered her, and her journey -- at least with Blake -- has not ended no matter what happens.

And finally, Rose belted out "(You Make Me Feel Like) A Natural Woman" by Aretha Franklin.

Gwen was on the verge of tears and called the performance "ridiculous" because it was so good.

Gwen said there's "no question" she's the "most talented human being" she's been around and her vocals were "magical." Gwen added it was unbelievable to watch her work the room.

Home viewers then had a brief five-minute window to vote in real time for Hello Sunday, Kat, or Rose to stay on The Voice via the show's official app and NBC.com.

Towards the end of the commercial break, Rose was leading with 51 percent of the vote, compared to Kat with 27 percent and then Hello Sunday with 23 percent.

Prior to learning the night's final set of results, Hello Sunday told their coach they loved her and said Kelly had been "a mama bear" for them. The girls thanked Kelly for pushing them to be better.

Kat told Blake that working with him had been the biggest blessing in her life and he's her "hero."

And Rose said she appreciated Gwen's love and support throughout the competition because it gave her so much confidence. Rose admitted if she left the competition on Tuesday night, she'd be just fine.

Blake also insisted during the last few minutes of the show that The Voice doesn't matter because he'd be talking to Kat in "a couple of days" regardless of whether she advanced to the finale.

Carson also shared during the live results show three of this season's Top 8 artists had made the Top 10 on iTunes' Singles chart.

The Voice finale will air next Monday and Tuesday night on NBC, when the Season 17 winner will be crowned.
