After Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Pharrell Williams and Gwen Stefani's teams performed over the course of Monday and Tuesday night in the Live Playoffs, America voted for their favorites.

Last night, 24 artists -- six on each team -- became only 12 contestants, meaning the teams were cut in half and there will only be three people on each team heading into next week's live performance show.

The Voice host Carson Daly announced that two members from each team would automatically advance to the next round based on home viewer voting. As for the remaining four members on each team, its given coach had to determine which other artist he or she would like to keep going forward -- ultimately eliminating three hopefuls.

"Team Gwen" was up first. America's votes saved Jeffery Austin and Braiden Sunshine. Gwen then selected Korin Bukowski to advance because she believes she can help her the most.

Gwen's decision sent Ellie Lawrence, Regina Love and Viktor Kiraly home. Viktor's elimination was definitely a shock considering his performance of "All Around The World" was one of Monday night's best. He received raving reviews from all the coaches and was complimented for being an incredible talent.

For "Team Blake," the majority of America's votes saved Barrett Baber and Zach Seabaugh. Blake then opted to have Emily Ann Roberts stay on his team because she thrives in this competitive situation.

Blake's choice ousted contestants Ivonne Acero, Morgan Frazier and Nadjah Nicole.

As for "Team Pharrell," home viewers voted to advance Madi Davis and Evan McKeel. Pharrell then "went out on a limb" and decided to stick with Mark Hood because he's a fighter.

Pharrell's decision sent Darius Scott, Riley Biederer and Celeste Betton packing.

Last but not least, "Team Adam." America voted to keep Jordan Smith and Shelby Brown in the competition. Adam then selected Amy Vachal to advance in the competition because it's what his gut told him to do.

Adam's announcement ultimately eliminated Blaine Mitchell, Chance Pena and Keith Semple.
