The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Taylor Armstrong is breaking her silence about the recent suicide of estranged husband Russell Armstrong.

Entertainment Tonight has announced it has conducted an interview in which Taylor discussed Russell's recent death and confirmed prior reports that claimed she was hospitalized this summer after he allegedly abused her.

Portions of the interview -- which Entertainment Tonight is billing as Taylor's first since Russell's body was found hanging on August 16 in the Los Angeles-area home of a friend he had been staying with after Taylor reportedly filed for divorce on July 15 -- will begin airing on the entertainment news show's Tuesday, September 20 broadcast.

According to a report broadcast on Entertainment Tonight last night, in addition to discussing Russell's death, Taylor will also talk about the alleged physical abuse he inflicted on her during their relationship.

Last night's show segment aired photos of the alleged physical evidence, showing Taylor hospitalized with an eye injury. The incident reportedly took place in early July and resulted in dark bruising around her eye and the dislocation of her corneal flap, an injury that required surgery to repair.

According to Entertainment Tonight, the pictures were taken by a friend of Taylor's in anticipation of pursuing a police investigation. However, Russell reportedly later showed up at the hospital and Taylor changed her story -- insisting the couple's 5-year-old daughter Kennedy kicked her in the face -- and therefore, a police report was never filed.

Taylor was then reportedly not seen in public for the rest of July until she appeared at a press event for The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' second season on August 1.
