The CW has revealed the identities of the 10 guys and 10 gals competing on Beauty and the Geek's fourth season, which is scheduled to premiere with a special two-hour episode on Tuesday, September 18 at 8PM ET/PT.
In addition, Beauty and the Geek 4 is the first to feature a cast of 20 who will be paired into 10 teams, as the first edition of the Ashton Kutcher and Jason Goldberg created "social experiment" paired 14 contestants into seven teams and the last two installments coupled 16 contestants into eight teams.
However similar to all three previous editions of the show, Beauty and the Geek 4's "beauty" and "geek" teams will compete in a series of intellectual and social skill challenges. Among the season's "geek" challenges will be a performance of an autobiographical rap in a nightclub as well as a "Prom King" competition. "Beauty" challenges will include an "American Beauty" debate and serving as a substitute teacher for a third-grade class. The final remaining team will win the $250,000 grand prize. Mike Richards will return to host Beauty and the Geek 4, which is from fox21 and is produced by Katalyst Films and 3 Ball Productions with Nick Santora, J.D. Roth and Todd A. Nelson serving as executive producers along with Kutcher and Goldberg. The 10 "geeks" competing in Beauty and the Geek 4 are: - David, a 28-year-old fire department administrator from Paramus, NJ who currently resides in Somerville, MA - Jesse, a 26-year-old software engineer from Cincinnati, OH - John, a 22-year-old analog circuit design student from Frederick, MD - Josh, a 21-year-old UC Berkeley mechanical engineering student from Oakland, CA - Joshua, a 26-year-old student from Phoenix, AZ who currently resides in Princeton, NJ and is working on his Master's thesis on Type 2 Quasars - Luke, a 23-year-old student from Cincinnati, OH who currently resides in Columbus, OH - Tony, a 26-year-old medical student from Fort Smith, AR who currently resides in Kirksville, MO - Will, a 25-year-old server from Raleigh-Durham, NC - William, a 23-year-old software engineer from Haworth, NJ who currently resides in Alexandria, VI - Nicole, a 25-year-old Tufts University musicology graduate student from San Francisco, CA who is serving as the nerdy girl The 10 "beauties" competing in Beauty and the Geek 4 are: - Amanda, a 25-year-old model from Warren, OH - Erin, a 22-year-old hair stylist from Carol Stream, IL - Hollie, a 26-year-old theme park performer from Providence, RI who currently resides in Orlando, FL - Jasmine, a 22-year-old nanny from Norwich, CT who currently resides in Columbus, OH - Jennifer, a 26-year-old waitress and model from Ontario, Canada who currently resides in Boston, MA - Katie, a 25-year-old retail store manager from Davenport, IA who currently resides in Schaumburg, IL - Natalie, a 22-year-old waitress and Hooters promotional model from Raleigh, NC - Rebecca, a 24-year-old student from Crown Point, IN - Shalandra, a 26-year-old bartender from Little Rock, AR - Sam, a 26-year-old party promoter from Davis, CA who is serving as the hunky guy |
