Former The Bachelor bachelorette Raven Gates and The Bachelorette bachelor Adam Gottschalk apparently know how Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s The Bachelor season ends, and the couple believe he made a snap decision when hearts were on the line.

The Bachelor's two-night finale event begins Monday night, and viewers will see Arie choosing between Lauren Burnham and Becca Kufrin.

It's been widely reported, however, that Arie got engaged to his season's winner but then dumped her weeks later and begged the runner-up to take him back. Arie is now allegedly dating his runner-up.

"It's an a-ha moment [for Arie]," Raven told Entertainment Tonight.

"Let's just say it's an impulse buy," Adam added. "You do something because [of] your impulse to buy it, and then you think about it, you're like, 'You know what, I need to take this back and I need to return it.' I think maybe that might have crossed his mind at some point."

According to Reality Steve spoiler blogger Steve Carbone, Arie proposed marriage to Becca at the final Rose Ceremony filmed in Cusco, Peru in November 2017 and then broke up with her in early January 2018.

Days later, Arie allegedly traveled to Virginia Beach and asked Lauren to give him a second chance, and she welcomed the pro racing driver back into her life.

"I wasn't shocked, but I was surprised, because... in the beginning [they promoted that] Arie's old enough, he's looking for somebody. He knows exactly what he wants," Adam continued to ET. "When you're in a different spotlight, I think there's a lot of pressure."

Raven said that Arie probably found "clarity" after the show wrapped production, but she's worried about his current relationship. (Carbone believes that Arie and Lauren got engaged in California in late February).

"I'm not going to lie, it kind of does [concern me]," Raven admitted. "I told Adam about that when I heard about what is about to happen. I was like, 'I would never. I would be done with you!'... It would not fly with me."

Raven and Adam -- who met and fell in love on Bachelor in Paradise last summer -- weren't exactly enthralled with Arie's season of The Bachelor overall.

However, Raven's close friend Tia Booth made it all the way to hometown dates on The Bachelor, and since both of the girls live in Arkansas, she got to meet Arie in person.

"I would have to say if Tia wasn't on it, I don't know if I would watch, just because it's boring," Raven confessed to ET, adding that she found Arie and Tia's split "so weird" because they seemed really "in tune" with each other. "It blew my mind [Tia] went home the next day."

Raven said Tia would make an excellent Bachelorette because she's really funny, but she'd have to "cut back on the cussing."

As for Raven and Adam's own romance in the real world, things are apparently going great and they are making a long-distance relationship work. (Adam lives in Dallas, TX, while Raven currently resides in Hoxie, AR, where she owns a clothing boutique).

The couple said they "don't feel pressure" to move in together and meet others' expectations but they have had conversations about relocating.

"When we got out of Paradise, we were like, 'Let's not waste each other's time. If this isn't working, let's cut it off and let's move on. Let's not draw this out.' But we've been working, so it's just a really nice surprise," Raven revealed.

Raven said she loves how Adam is sweet to all of her girlfriends and women in general, and Adam gushed about how he's drawn to Raven for her "passion" and intelligence.

Prior to appearing on Bachelor in Paradise 4, Raven finished as the runner-up on Nick Viall's season of The Bachelor and Adam competed for Rachel Lindsay's heart on Season 13 of The Bachelorette.
