The former Big Brother houseguest announced her big news Monday on Instagram by sharing a couple of sonogram photos as well as one picture of herself lounging in the sun with the baby's father, Benjamin Bunn, as they read What to Expect parenting books.

"Well, I've always expected the unexpected in my life and this year is no different!" Christmas captioned the image, making a reference to Big Brother's famous slogan.

"In January, I discovered I am actually EXPECTING and a whole new life would be laid out before me. After a challenging 2017 year it is turning out that 2018 is the best year of my life to date. I have my health, family, friends, passion, and a new addition to my tribe."

It's unclear how long Christmas has been dating Ben, a CrossFit affiliate owner who calls himself "Coach Bunny," but they appear to be very happy together and also share a passion for nutrition, fitness and tattoos!

"Ben & I couldn't be happier with this news and are over the moon excited about this wild, new journey. I'm currently 9 weeks and our #babybunny has a very active heartbeat!" Christmas continued in her post.

"We were so relieved to see the baby healthy and strong. After I saw the heart beating I couldn't stop crying for most of the remaining day. It was intense. I'm excited to share my experience in this process as much as I feel comfortable."

Christmas added the following hashtags: "#wildstrawberry #babybunny #9weekspregnant #firstbaby #newmom #icryalot #whatthehellishappeningtomybody #hormonesareabitch #gimmeallthecarbs and #radical."

Benjamin also announced the pregnancy on his own Instagram account, saying he prides himself on living an unconventional life and sees no reason to break the trend now.

"I couldn't be more excited to be having a baby with [Christmas]. We might not have planned this journey, but I know she's going to make a tremendous mother and I'm so happy to have her support, strength and steadfast dedication to our child," he wrote alongside a slideshow of the same photos.

"Thanks for jumping in line for this ride, Christmas. I think we're gonna have a blast -- Side note, I've almost died A BUNCH of times, but have never been so terrified, relieved and elated as when the Doctor stared me in the face and told me a healthy child was on the way, I'm sure the other dads out there will attest to that."

As Big Brother fans probably recall, Christmas had a fun and flirty relationship with Paul Abrahamian on Season 19 of the show in 2017.

Christmas admitted to Us Weekly after Season 19 that she could see herself dating Paul and she had feelings for him, but a romance outside of the house never came to fruition. At the time, Christmas was 35 years old and Paul was 24.

The North Carolina-based fitness enthusiast was previously engaged to Geoff Kercher. She announced their engagement in October 2016 on Instagram, and according to the former couple's website on The Knot, they originally set a wedding date for September 3, 2017 in Raleigh.

Christmas finished Season 19 of Big Brother in third place behind runner-up Paul and the winner Josh Martinez, and she found her eviction "really hard and really painful." She had voted for Paul to win the game.
