The Bachelor franchise's aftershow is being taken over by comedic talk show host Jimmy Kimmel for one night only.

ABC has announced a Bachelor-themed primetime special hosted by Kimmel will air following Season 21's premiere of The Bachelor on Monday, January 2.

Jimmy Kimmel Live: Here for the Right Reasons will air at 10PM ET/PT on ABC, immediately following the two-hour debut of The Bachelor starring Nick Viall that kicks off at 8PM ET/PT.

It's no surprise Kimmel has taken on the job, as he's a longtime The Bachelor fan who makes Final 4 predictions each season and even appeared on the series to provide some laughs for the contestants.

During Ben Higgins' season of The Bachelor in early 2016, Harrison hosted a weekly aftershow called Bachelor Live. Kimmel's special will air in this same time slot.

As previously revealed, a new 10-episode next-day aftershow is coming to Snapchat next year.

ABC's Disney|ABC Television Group parent company is teaming up with Snapchat to launch Watch Party: The Bachelor, a new show that will be available on Snapchat Discover and follow a weekly Bachelor viewing party attended by a rotating group of celebrities, comedians, super fans, and past contestants.

Watch Party: The Bachelor's first episode will be released the morning of Tuesday, January 3. Subsequent episodes will be made available every Tuesday morning for viewing on Snapchat for up to 24 hours.
