The Bachelor franchise's Elizabeth Kitt Brown and Ty Brown are opening up about their struggle with infertility now that they've welcomed a beautiful baby girl into their lives.

Elizabeth gave birth to a daughter, Blakely Elizabeth Brown, on April 26 after a near four-year battle to get pregnant, Us Weekly reported.

Elizabeth was reportedly diagnosed with unexplained infertility in 2015. As a result, she underwent intrauterine insemination or IUI, when sperm is injected directly into the cervix, in order to increase her chances of fertilization.

But when those treatments didn't work, the Tennessee-based couple began the In Vitro Fertilization process.

"Since we are older, we didn't want to waste any more time," Elizabeth told Us.

The IVF transfer was reportedly a success but then Elizabeth sadly ended up suffering a miscarriage shortly afterward.

"That was tough," Elizabeth told the magazine. "We waited an entire year before deciding we were ready to try again."

But the couple's dreams came true when they learned in August 2017 they were expecting again.

"I believe I held my breath the entire pregnancy, hoping and praying we would go full-term," Elizabeth revealed.

When Blakely was born in late April, she reportedly arrived at 11:33AM, weighing seven pounds and five ounces.

"I have so much love and respect in my heart for Ty, as he has been with me through this incredible journey every step of the way... Ty has been my rock. From my first IVF injection to that final push, he has been my cheerleader every step of the way, helping me not to give up."

Elizabeth has since joked on social media that her baby is going to be "the most spoiled baby girl" ever and that she and her husband are "obsessed" with their newborn.

"Blakely is absolutely precious and such a good baby," Elizabeth said. "Our hearts are so full... Things are going so well!"

Both parents have ties to reality television, as Ty competed for Ali Fedotowsky's heart on Season 6 of The Bachelorette in 2010, and Elizabeth vied for Jake Pavelka's affection on Season 14 of The Bachelor in 2010.

The couple met at a charity event in Los Angeles and began dating in January 2013. Elizabeth and Ty got engaged nine months later and exchanged vows in March 2014.
