A new season of "Temptation Island" might be here, and almost two years might have passed since the last edition premiered, but the ratings results remain the same -- once again "Temptation Island" is tanking in the ratings.

Mediaweek.com reports that according to Nielsen Media Research, the "Temptation Island 3" premiere scored 3.6/5 rating/share. The performance placed the show in fifth place for its timeslot, behind CBS' "CSI" 10.8/17, NBC's "Will & Grace" (6.2/10) and "Scrubs" (4.7/7) combo, ABC's "Extreme Makeover" (4.8/7) and the second hour of UPN's "WWE Smackdown!" (3.7/6 average.)
