Each of Jesse James Is A Dead Man's 10 one-hour episodes will feature James as he prepares to undertake a dangerous stunt. After enduring tests and using computer effects too demonstrate the stresses that the body endures during the stunt, James will then complete the feat.

The stunts that James will participate in will include racing in the Baja 500, driving a nitro bike supercharged by ultra-combustible nitro-methane fuel over 200 MPH, and riding a motorcycle in minus-60 degree arctic temperature across the "Ice Highway" that connects the small towns of Inuvik and Aklavik.

James will also ask his fans to come up with an additional stunt for him to undertake as well.

"Our goal was to create a new and distinctive series for Jesse that is unlike anything else on television," said Sharon Levy, senior vice president of original series for Spike TV. "In this series, viewers will get to experience one of the most fearless guys on the planet in an entirely new way, taking on death-defying physical challenges each week."

James signed a two-year talent and production deal with Spike TV in 2007.

Jesse James Is A Dead Man is being produced for Spike TV by Payupsucker Productions and BASE Productions, with Jesse James, Hildie Katibah, John Brenkus and Mickey Stern serving as executive producers.
