'Runway's Tim Gunn to co-host ABC's Oscars red carpet coverage

Tim Gunn will take his fashion expertise to the red carpet for the Oscars.

ABC has announced the Project Runway fashion guru will co-host its live red carpet Oscars coverage along with Good Morning America anchor Robin Roberts and Entertainment Weekly managing editor Jess Cagle.
The red-carpet coverage will represent the fist time ABC has hosted an Oscar pre-show, which will air February 22 beginning at 5PM ET/PT and immediately precede the network's coverage of the 81st Academy Awards.
It will be a busy weekend for Gunn, who is also slated to tapeProject Runway's sixth-season finale at New York Fashion Week on February 20.
Despite filming the finale, Project Runway's sixth season remains in litigation limbo after NBC Universal -- the parent company of Bravo, the cable network that aired Project Runway's first five seasons -- sued the show's The Weinstein Company production company to prevent its move to Lifetime.
