Although the overnight ratings for the October 31st, Halloween night episode have CBS' 'The Amazing Race' finishing fourth in it's hour behind FOX's World Series Game 4, NBC's 'West Wing', and ABC's 'Drew Carey' and 'Bob Patterson' comedies, the good news is that Mediaweek is reporting that overall its ratings seem to be climbing!
Episode 7 of 'The Amazing Race' finished in 58th place in the weekly ratings with about 9.17 million viewers. With 800,000 more viewers than Episode 6 and a rise of 11 percent among adults 18-49 (4.0/10 vs. 3.6/9) it certainly appears that the show is building some momentum.
'The Amazing Race' posted its best ratings among adults 18-49 (4.0/10) and adults 18-34 (3.7/10) -- not to mention households and adults 18-49 -- since Sept. 19. Compared to lead-in 60 Minutes II, The Amazing Race was up by 29 percent among adults 18-49.
