Prosecutors refuse Mark Burnett's request to remove Martha Stewart's anklet

Federal prosecutors have denied producer Mark Burnett's request to remove Martha Stewart's electronic anklet.

Burnett, producer of Stewart's upcoming "Apprentice" spin-off and NBC-owned talk show, requested the anklet be removed because it prevents Stewart from wearing "skirts or dresses" during taping, TV Guide.com reported Monday.

Stewart is on home confinement for five months after spending five months in a federal prison for lying about a stock sale.
