Paul "Pauly D" DelVecchio is reportedly getting to meet his baby girl for the first time on Wednesday.

Since baby mama Amanda Markert gave birth to the former Jersey Shore star's daughter Amabella on May 15, DelVecchio hasn't had a chance to hold his child yet amidst an ongoing custody battle and highly-publicized personal problems between the parents, TMZ reported.

However, DelVecchio and Markert, a VIP hostess and former Hooters waitress, have reportedly established a "temporary truce," allowing the reality TV star to meet Amabella.

The meeting will take place in New Jersey near Markert's home, according to the website.

Markert has apparently been trying to reach out to DelVecchio in recent days despite all the drama regarding their relationship.

"This is getting out of hand, you've had my number since day 1. Come bond with her any day, any time you and your family want," Markert tweeted to DelVecchio last week.

DelVecchio reportedly didn't learn he has a daughter until October, which was several months after Amabella's birth. DelVecchio has since been fighting for primary custody of his baby, trying to prove Markert -- who was the deejay's one-night stand in Las Vegas -- is an unfit mother.

"My No. 1 focus is my daughter," The Pauly D Project star told In Touch Weekly in its November 11 issue.

"Everything in my life will now revolve around her and what's best for her. I cannot wait to meet her. I've never been so excited in my entire life. I'm proud to be a father, and I'm ready for it."

DelVecchio and Markert reportedly had unprotected sex in Fall 2012 after they met at a party at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino's Rehab club where DelVecchio was deejaying.
