Oxygen taps Brooke Burns to helm 'Hair Battle Spectacular' reality series

Oxygen has announced former Dog Eat Dog host Brooke Burns will helm its new Hair Battle Spectacular reality competition series.

Hair Battle Spectacular will feature 10 fantasy hair design artists as they live together and compete against each other in a series of challenges designed to see who can create the most over-the-top coif.
One contestant will be eliminated at the conclusion of each episode, with the winner receiving a $100,000 prize.
Bravo began developingHair Battle Spectacular in January, and it is being produced by 3 Ball Productions with J.D. Roth, Todd Nelson and Adam Greener serving as executive producers.
In addition to hosting Dog Eat Dog, which aired for two seasons on NBC in Summer 2002 and 2003, Burns also starred in Baywatch.
