Nigel Lythgoe: America got 'So You Think You Can Dance' finale right

Unlike last season, So You Think You Can Dance executive producer and judge Nigel Lythgoe thinks home viewers got it right in voting Joshua Allen and Twitch Boss as the fourth season's top finalists.

"I think America got it pretty much right to have Twitch and Joshua there [in the final two]," Lythgoe told Extra, OK! Weekly reported Friday.

After Sabra Johnson took home So You Think You Can Dance's third-season crown last summer, Lythgoe stated he instead thought runner-up Danny Tidwell should have taken the title because he was "far and away the best."

Despite strong efforts by Allen and Boss' fellow Top 4 fourth-season finalists Katee Shean and Courtney Galiano, Lythgoe said this summer's competition was for the guys to lose.

"The fans loved the boys' charisma," he told Extra, according to OK!.
