NBC announces casting tour for eleventh edition of The Biggest Loser'

NBC has announced dates and locations for The Biggest Loser eleventh-season open casting calls.

The 11-city cross-country search will begin on July 17 in Denver and Portland and continue over the next few weeks before coming to a close on August 7 with stops in Louisville, Phoenix and Pittsburgh.

NBC is looking for both individual contestants and teams of two who need to lose at least 100 lbs. and have "the personality, desire and competitive edge to vie for this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to lose weight, change their lives forever and compete for a grand prize of $250,000," according to the network.

Interested applicants must be 18 or older and legal residents of the U.S.. Additional information is available via NBC's website.

The Biggest Loser's eleventh season is currently slated to air next January as part of NBC's primetime programming schedule. It's tenth season will air this fall.
