MTV has announced the sixth season of Jersey Shore will premiere Thursday, October 4 at 10PM ET/PT and its spinoff, Snooki & JWOWW, has been renewed for a second season.

The upcoming season will continue to star returning cast members Ronnie Ortiz-Magro, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola, Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi, Jenni "JWoww" Farley, Deena Cortese, Vinny Guadagnino, and Paul "Pauly D" DelVecchio.
While most of the cast will be living together in the same house as per usual, Polizzi -- who is currently eight months pregnant with a baby boy and due in September -- will reportedly be staying at her own place right next door.
The first season of Snooki & JWOWW, which stars Polizzi and Farley beyond the Jersey Shore, debuted in late June.
