Melissa Gilbert is doing well after being rushed off on a stretcher to the hospital Monday night following her Dancing with the Stars paso doble performance with professional partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy.

"I'm alright. Mild concussion and whiplash. Very soon I will be safely home resting and being taken care of," Gilbert tweeted early Tuesday morning.
Gilbert -- who, according toPeople, was helped down from the show's skybox by fellow fourteenth-season Dancing with the Stars contestant Gavin DeGraw -- didn't seem to have any hard feelings towards Chmerkovskiy for their rock routine's gutsy choreography.
"@MaksimC you are my champion. I adore you. @GavinDeGraw bless your heart for carrying me down those stairs!" the former Little House on the Prairie star subsequently tweeted.
"I think anybody would have done it," DeGraw told People after last night's performance show.
Pro dancer Val Chmerkovskiy noted his brother didn't walk away from the paso doble routine scratch-free either.
"He hurt his elbow during rehearsal doing one of the tricks," he told People of Maksim Chmerkovskiy. "And now he pulled his groin."
"If you're wondering why Melissa and Maks are not here, she injured herself. And as a precaution, she's gone to the hospital to get checked out. We'll update you on her condition tomorrow night," Bergeron announced.
The scores of Monday night's judging leaderboard will now be combined with the home viewer voting results cast immediately afterward to determine which of the remaining 10 couples will be eliminated on Dancing with the Stars' third fourteenth-season results show Tuesday night at 9PM ET/PT.
