Dancing with the Stars judges' leaderboard was topped by Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd during Monday night's broadcast of the fourteenth season's fourth performance show, which featured the Top 10 finalists performing routines inspired by a rock hit.

The NFL player and his professional partner knocked opera singer Katherine Jenkins and partner Mark Ballas out of the top spot and finished in first place on the leaderboard after they performed a paso doble which received 27 out of 30 possible points from Dancing with the Stars judges Len Goodman, Carrie Ann Inaba and Bruno Tonioli.

Singer Gladys Knight and partner Tristan MacManus finished in tenth -- and last -- place at the bottom of the leaderboard after they performed a tango routine which received only 20 points from the judges.

Disney Channel star Roshon Fegan and partner Chelsie Hightower and Entertainment reporter and Extra host Maria Menounos and partner Derek Hough finished tied for second place after they each danced a routine which received 26 points from the judges.

Fegan and Hightower performed a Viennese waltz, while Menounos and Hough danced the tango.

Jenkins and Ballas finished in fourth place after they earned 24 points for their paso doble performance.

Singer Gavin DeGraw and partner Karina Smirnoff followed closely behind Jenkins and Ballas in fifth place with 23 points after dancing a tango routine.

Sixth place also represented a tie between three couples: former Little House on the Prairie star Melissa Gilbert and partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy, actor Jaleel White and partner Kym Johnson and actor and telenovela star William Levy and partner Cheryl Burke. All three couples received 22 points from the judges.

Gilbert and Chmerkovskiy performed a paso doble routine, White -- who is best known for his role on ABC's sitcom Family Matters -- and Johnson danced the tango, and Levy and Burke performed a jive.

Comedienne and The View co-host Sherri Shepherd and partner Val Chmerkovskiy finished in ninth place on the judges' leaderboard. The couple performed a tango routine which received 21 points from the judges.

The scores of Monday night's judging leaderboard will now be combined with the home viewer voting results cast immediately afterward to determine which of the 10 couples will be eliminated on Dancing with the Stars' third fourteenth-season results show Tuesday night at 9PM ET/PT.

In addition, last night's broadcast featured Dancing with the Stars host Tom Bergeron announcing that effective next week, the show will be adopting a new dance-off format to determine which couple will be eliminated.

"We've heard from you who were unhappy, as we were, to see some good dancers eliminated early -- Sabrina Bryan comes to mind -- so starting next Tuesday, for three weeks, the bottom two couples will dance simultaneously for our judges in a dance duel. The judges will then decide who goes, giving one last chance for the best dancer in the bottom two to stay in the competition," Bergeron explained.
