Married at First Sight star Meka Jones feels Michael Watson had "no accountability" for his lies in the first several weeks of their marriage and would just play the victim and flip the script when caught lying.

"Up to this point, it's just been lies and no accountability," Meka said on the March 11 episode of Married at First Sight: Unfiltered, when reflecting on last week's Season 10 broadcast.

Meka accused Michael of lying multiple times, and at first, Michael deemed such allegations "ridiculous."

In addition to Michael denying a sex ultimatum he allegedly gave Meka before their honeymoon, Meka also accused Michael of lying about turning down a high-paying offer to be principal at a Catholic high school and working as a yoga instructor on the side.

Every time Meka put Michael on the spot looking for the truth, he seemed to shut down and tell Meka he just wasn't comfortable enough with her to be forthcoming about certain aspects of his life. He also felt Meka enjoyed setting him up for I-got-you moments.

"It's like, I can't be frustrated at him lying because he's just going to, like, play the victim and flip it on me and get mad at me for being mad at him for lying to me," Meka said on Unfiltered.

"He does not own up to it, and he just somehow really turns it around," Unfiltered host Jamie Otis observed.

"He should be a politician!" Married at First Sight expert Pastor Calvin Roberson joked. "Oh my God!"

"Then he wonders why you get frustrated!" Jamie exclaimed. "If he would've had [Elizabeth Bice as his wife] from last season, the table would have been thrown! Forget it!"

After Jamie, Meka, Pastor Cal and Season 10 bride Taylor Dunklin all got in a good laugh, Jamie asked Meka on a serious note, "Where do you go from here?"

"In order for us to move forward, he has to man up and say, 'You know what? I was wrong,'" Meka shared.

"As long as he can recognize, like, 'You know what? I really am messing this up, let me just tell the truth,' I 100 percent think that we'll move forward just fine."

Pastor Cal explained Michael's initial approach to the problem wasn't getting him anywhere.

"Some people apologize proactively where they realize they messed up but they fix it. And then there are other people who apologize inactively -- people who never will admit it but they just try to act differently," Pastor Cal said.

"And it won't work that way. You have to realize there's a wrong, get in there, and fix it. When you do that, you can get over it, but he's not even being honest about his lies."

But after meeting with Married at First Sight expert Dr. Pepper Schwartz in last week's episode, Meka and Michael played a game of truths in which Michael was blindfolded and Meka could ask him any question she wanted.

"Do you fully understand why it has been so hard for me to trust you?" Meka asked during the game.

"Yeah, I do," Michael replied. "So, I do take responsibility for the stuff that's happened, but I also hope there's a way to grow and move past this so we can see what this really can be."

Jamie acknowledged blindfolding Michael seemed to make him much more vulnerable.

"Yeah, I just think it was nice for us to have an open line of communication and for Michael to see that when he's being open and he's being honest, I can be myself and I can be calm," Meka shared, adding how Michael had fed her lies up to this point.

"This is the first time he's like, 'Yeah, you know what? I have lied. I'm admitting that, now, let's move forward.'"

In Wednesday night's episode of Married at First Sight's tenth season, Meka and Michael enjoyed a day of boating for their one-month anniversary and Michael gifted his wife with a trip to Jamaica so they could swim with dolphins.

Meka was blown away by the kind gesture and could tell Michael was putting effort into their marriage, but she hoped it wasn't going to be "too good to be true."

Married at First Sight also currently stars Taylor and Brandon Reid, Mindy Shiben and Zach Justice, Katie Conrad and Derek Sherman, and Jessica Studer and Austin Hurd.
