At the time filming commenced for Happily Ever After, all three couples were expecting their first child together, and Shawniece and Jephte eventually welcomed their daughter Laura Denise.

Married at First Sight: Happily Ever After - Episode 7

The Married at First Sight broadcast began in Week 6 of the Married at First Sight: Happily Ever After process, with all of the couples reuniting in Boston, MA, where Shawniece and Jephte currently reside.

The couples were hoping to build on the support system they already had, and Danielle couldn't wait to talk to Shawniece about her experience with motherhood.

Although it was a stay-cation for Shawniece and Jephte, they were still a little overwhelmed by the steps it took to get out of the house with their newborn baby and head to a nearby hotel.

The three couples then met at a restaurant. Danielle admitted buying a house was stressful, and Anthony owned up to the fact there was "a significant level of anxiety and stress" that went with picking out a home.

Danielle was a little jealous Anthony and Ashley found a house their first day of looking while she and Bobby had been going in circles trying to find the perfect place.

Danielle noted Shawniece and Jephte were "brave" to bring their little one out in public so soon after her birth, but everyone loved seeing the couple's first child.

The group discussed how Danielle and Ashley were also both expecting daughters, and then the men and women separated to chat without their significant others present.

Ashley disclosed she had scheduled the birth of her child so there would be no surprises in terms of when she goes into labor, and then Danielle admitted she was 100 percent going to ask for an epidural.

Meanwhile, Bobby discussed his concerns about being tight on money in order to give Danielle the life she wants in a new home. Jephte admitted having a baby is very expensive when it comes to clothes, daycare and more.

Jephte acknowledged having a baby and a little dog was stressful for them and he probably should've stayed home for a week in the beginning to help her. But Shawniece told the girls Jephte was an "amazing father."

Afterward, Dr. Jessica hashed out any issues the girls were having in their relationships. Shawniece cried about the fact Jephte rarely expressed his feelings for her, and that made Danielle realize she could be more open and communicative with Bobby.

At the same time, Pastor Cal chatted with the men about their respective marriages. Jephte gushed about the joys of being a father and noted he's "really happy" -- although he was very unprepared for all the life changes.

The guys then discussed intimacy during their wives' pregnancies. Jephte acknowledged Shawniece looked "beautiful" while she was expecting, and then Bobby confessed Danielle never felt like having sex because she was sick all of the time.

"Talking to the guys now, it makes me think this is not normal," Bobby said of the lack of intimacy in his relationship.

Pastor Cal advised Bobby to at least make an attempt at physical intimacy so Danielle would feel attractive, desired and wanted.

Bobby later expressed his frustration about their sex life to Danielle, and she didn't want him feeling bad or rejected, so she insisted she would make an effort to change their dynamic in the bedroom.

Danielle and Bobby worked on reigniting their flame by enjoying a picnic together, and Danielle gushed about all the things she loved about her husband. Bobby said Danielle had come a long way when it comes to opening up and it was nice to get inside her head.

Pastor Cal was then shown sitting down with Jephte individually because he was struggling with the fact he loved his wife but he was not in love with her.

Jephte's heart wasn't completely in it, saying it was more of a commitment he had to make than a feeling that was missing.

Pastor Cal explained that Jephte had the power to change his own attitude in that the more positively he spoke about Shawniece, the more positive he was likely to feel about her.

Jephte acknowledged Shawniece is a wonderful woman and he didn't want to lose her, not to mention he wanted Laura to grow up in one household -- with one Christmas, one Thanksgiving and more.

The episode concluded with the three couples sitting down and talking to the experts, including Dr. Pepper Schwartz. Danielle said she recognized how she needed to do and say more in the relationship, but Bobby pointed out she shows love in different ways.

Pastor Cal, however, told Bobby to allow Danielle to grow and do better, rather than make excuses for the things that weren't working in their relationship.

Shawniece was working on letting Jephte step up to the plate, no longer forcing herself to be Superwoman all the time, and Jephte said he was working on growing his feelings of love for his wife.
