This season of Marriage Boot Camp documents the following couples attempting to work through their issues: Bachelor in Paradise stars JJ Lane and Juelia Kinney, Teen Mom 2 star Kailyn Lowry and estranged husband Javi Marroquin, Bad Girls Club star Mehgan James and boyfriend DeAndre Perry, Shahs of Sunset stars Asifa Mirza and Bobby Panahi, and Love & Hip Hop: New York stars Amina Buddafly and Peter Gunz.

All of the couples try to overcome their scandals, dark secrets, and emotional or physical cheating under the guidance and with the help of therapists Dr. Venus Nicolino and Dr. Ish Major.

The episode began with Bobby complaining about how Asifa had never completed her assignment to write 100 times, "I will not mention the girl at the gym again," the night prior. Bobby didn't feel she was taking the process seriously, and Venus said Asifa must feel incredibly "insecure and unworthy."

Asifa was forced to finish her punishment -- which required 41 more statements in writing -- in front of everyone that morning. But Asifa didn't necessarily feel at fault for feeling the way she did.

"It's the lies. I don't know if he's cheated or not. I don't ask him because the minute I find out he has cheated, I'm gone," Asifa announced to the group, before asking Bobby why he continuously lies to her.

"Because I don't feel like I can tell you the truth," Bobby replied.

It then became time for the group to participate in a therapy exercise called Kink-O. Each couple was required to select a category at random on the Kink-O board about sex and then act out the sexy scenario using puppets as stand-ins.

Amina revealed that Peter using his phone in bed was a turnoff, and Peter admitted Amina never denies him sex. Amina also admitted there's always a third person in the bedroom -- Peter's ex, Tara.

Amina learned she must demand Peter choose between them or he may never do that, but Peter also needed to make a decision or else he could end up totally alone.

Juelia then revealed the best sex she's ever had with someone else was in the water because it was spontaneous and they weren't supposed to do it. JJ said he's uncomfortable about having sex in public and then confessed the best sex he's ever had was with two women in a hotel room.

JJ got emotional over how he had lost his virginity to his ex-wife but they only had sex a few times in a year because all they did was fight.

"There's no crying in threesomes!" Bobby quipped to cameras.

Juelia learned during the exercise that she was more affected by her late husband's suicide than she realized.

When it became Asifa and Bobby's turn, Asifa told the group that no foreplay existed before sex and it doesn't work for her. Bobby admitted their sex life used to be amazing when no baggage and drama weighed on their shoulders.

Mehgan then revealed she wasn't having sex with DeAndre at all, and DeAndre dropped a bombshell that it had been two years since they last slept together. The doctors didn't see any connection between the couple and couldn't understand why they were even together.

"We've seen 50-60 couples come through Boot Camp. We've never seen a couple more disengaged than the two of you," Venus noted.

"I do not think Mehgan and DeAndre have chemistry. Even when they bicker, it doesn't seem like they care," Juelia pointed out.

Kailyn and Javi were up next for the exercise, and Kailyn reluctantly disclosed the best sex she's ever had was in the kitchen, when a man surprised her from behind while she was washing her hands.

"I knew this was a bad idea," Kailyn said, as Javi appeared disheartened and upset. "I feel bad I'm hurting him."

After the exercise, Mehgan threatened to leave the show because she didn't think the process was helping their relationship. She felt their "love language" was being criticized.

"I don't feel like I have to prove anything to anybody. I learned nothing [in that drill]. I learned no one understands our relationship," Mehgan told the cameras.

Mehgan loved DeAndre but wanted to fall back in love with him, and he told the doctors that he wanted to wake up next to her every morning and eventually have children with her. Mehgan hoped to just start over and work out their issues, and she told the group she's affectionate with DeAndre in private.

Juelia joked that Mehgan should just have sex with DeAndre to fix their problems, with JJ adding, "She probably just needs to get laid."

Divorce Court judge Lynn Toler then arrived and talked to each couple about their issues. Lynn called Asifa "a dark seeker" and told Juelia that "she is enough" as a human being just by existing. Lynn said the lengths Peter took to keep Amina's heart may not be long enough for her.

The next morning, with only four full days remaining in the process, Amina caught Peter on the phone with Tara, but he insisted he just called her to ask about the kids. Peter said he wasn't sneaking the phone call, but Amina didn't believe him because he had hung up the phone the second she walked into the bedroom.

Amina screamed at Peter and smashed his cell phone. Peter was upset because he had such a good night with Amina.

Meanwhile, Asifa vented to the girls about how Amina knew what she was getting into by dating Peter to begin with and she'd "rather kill myself" than put herself in a similar situation.

Before bed that night, Asifa and Bobby got into an argument about how he'd react if she had shattered his iPhone. Asifa accused him of not cuddling or kissing, and Bobby said she's never happy -- "a nightmare that doesn't stop," and she threw it back in his face that he "verbally abuses" her.

Bobby was extremely tired of the highs and lows in his relationship with Asifa, especially since all she wanted to do was fight.

As a result, Bobby grabbed his suitcases and left the mansion. Asifa wished she had the strength to let him go, but instead, she chased him down the driveway and attempted to convince him not to leave.

"I wish I never came," Bobby said at the end of the episode.
