Kim Kardashian and boyfriend Kanye West have reportedly decided they want to keep their baby away from reality TV cameras.

The couple, who announced Kardashian is pregnant with their first child earlier this week, want to "ensure real privacy" for their baby when he or she comes in about six months, TMZ reported Tuesday.

The 32-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians and former Kourtney and Kim Take New York star is reportedly insisting her and West's child will "never" appear on the show or star in his or her own reality spinoff. Kardashian also allegedly isn't interested in pursuing a television special which would broadcast the baby's birth.

However, Kardashian apparently doesn't have a problem with being on TV while expecting. According to TMZ, she believes being "pregnant is great and cute," so she doesn't mind sharing most of her journey with viewers.

West -- a 35-year-old rapper who's been dating Kardashian for about nine months -- first revealed the pregnancy news during his concert in Atlantic City on Sunday night. Members of the Kardashian clan took to Twitter shortly afterwards to congratulate the couple and express their excitement.

Kardashian, who is reportedly 12 weeks pregnant, subsequently released a statement on her Celebuzz.com blog gushing about how "blessed and lucky" she feels to be with child.

Rumors that the couple had a baby on the way had first surfaced earlier this month.

Kourtney & Kim Take Miami, the third season of a Take Miami spinoff for the Kardashian sisters, began production in September and will premiere this month. The spinoff's first two seasons featured Khloe Kardashian instead of Kim.
