Kim Kardashian's family, Kanye West and celebrities have all had something to say about the recent news of Kim's pregnancy, but now it's finally Kim's turn to express her own thoughts.

"It's true!! Kanye and I are expecting a baby. We feel so blessed and lucky and wish that in addition to both of our families, his mom and my dad could be here to celebrate this special time with us," Kardashian wrote on her Celebuzz.com blog on Monday, hours after West had announced they're having a child together at his concert in Atlantic City on Sunday night.

"Looking forward to great new beginnings in 2013 and to starting a family. Happy New Year!!! Xo."

In her statement, the 32-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star was referring to West's mother Donda, who passed away in 2007, and her late father Robert Kardashian, Sr., who died of esophageal cancer in 2003.

According to Us Weekly, West -- a 35-year-old rapper who's been dating Kardashian for about nine months -- said "stop the music and make noise for my baby mama" in front of several hundred fans during his concert last night. Kardashian was sitting in the audience.

Shortly after West's official announcement, members of the Kardashian clan took to Twitter to congratulate the couple and reveal their excitement.

Rumors that Kardashian and West had a baby on the way had first surfaced earlier this month.
