"Two of my children, no, are being tutored at home, with a teacher who is working closely with our kindergarten teachers in school, doing the identical curriculum," the Kate Plus 8 star told Entertainment Tonight in an interview released Wednesday.

Gosselin claimed the reasons behind home-schooling her two children for the time being was a direct result of her recent divorce with ex-husband Jon Gosselin.

"The pressure was getting to them," Gosselin explained. "You have the divorce anger mixed in with that."

But she said the change is only temporary and hopes to get things back to normal soon.

"The goal is to get them back into school as soon as possible," Gosselin added.

In addition, Gosselin also attributed her recent decision to re-adopt one of the family's former dogs to the children's behavioral problems.

"We've brought our dog back. We talk to Shoka; he doesn't talk back," the concerned mother said. "They can tell him anything they want. They told me this, and so I had to bring him back."

According to ET, the divorce has brought upon other changes to the family's regular routine as well, including how the children will spend their holidays.

"We have been able to work out the holiday time peacefully," Gosselin said. "So I will have the first half, he will have the second half, and, we just take it year by year, and holiday by holiday."

During the interview, the reality star also denied rumors that TLC has canceled her upcoming new Twist of Kate show.

"We're sort of still trying to shape it [into] what it needs to be and what is going to be fun. So no, not canceled," Gosselin stated.
