Kat Von D and Jesse James are really over for good this time -- supposedly.

"I am not in a relationship," the former LA Ink star wrote on her Facebook Fan Page on Saturday.

"And I apologize for all the 'back and forth' if it's caused any confusion."

Von D and the former Jesse James is a Dead Man and Monster Garage star announced they had ended their engagement and split in July, only to reveal they had gotten back together and were once again engaged the following month.

However, the couple has broken up again and Von D suggested it was her decision.

"It was clear to me that we were just on two different paths in life," Von D told People. "My friend put it best when he said I could never be more deserving of total, noble love. And as a woman, I think it's important to know your value and never lose sight of that."

The tattoo artist also implied things weren't working between the couple because they struggled with a long-distance relationship, which was a major factor in their first breakup, as James resides in Austin, TX.

"I am not in any way moving to Texas and I am not leaving my shop here in Los Angeles, High Voltage Tattoo," Von D wrote on her Facebook, adding that she still wishes James well.

"I wish Jesse nothing but the best in life and in love."

After previously denying they were an item and insisting they were just longtime friends, Von D and James began dating last summer after James' divorce from Hollywood actress Sandra Bullock, his wife of five years, was finalized.

They subsequently announced their engagement in January and had planned to get married this summer to mark the one-year anniversary of when they began dating.

TLC had announced the cancellation of LA Ink last month, stating the network had "decided" to end the show with the broadcast of its fourth-season finale on September 15. However, Von D challenged TLC's statement and insisted it was her choice to end the series.
