Karen O誰eil-Ganci becomes the tenth houseguest to be evicted from the 'Big Brother 5' house

After being nominated for eviction by Jennifer Dedmon (aka "Nakomis"), the tenth Head of Household, Karen O誰eil-Ganci was evicted last night from the Big Brother 5 house by her fellow houseguests.

On Tuesday, Diane Henry won the Power of Veto and opted to save her "boyfriend" Drew Daniel, who along with Michael Ellis (aka "Cowboy") had been put on the block as part of Nakomis' initial nominations, from possible eviction. The decision forced Nakomis to fill the empty nomination slot with her own ally Karen, the only other remaining houseguest eligible for nomination.

Karen received two votes for eviction from houseguests Diane and Drew. As Head of Household, Jennifer was ineligible to vote.

During last night's live broadcast, the 30-year-old married portrait artist from Saddle Brook, New Jersey, learned her fate, said her good-byes and left the house. After leaving Big Brother 5, Karen was interviewed by Julie Chen about her experience. Karen becomes the fifth member of the jury, joining Marvin Latimer, Will Wikle and twin sisters Adria Klein and Natalie Carroll.

Following Karen's interview, the remaining houseguests competed in the "Before Or After" quiz competition to determine who would become the next Head of Household. Competing against Diane and Cowboy (Nakomis was ineligible to compete as a result of her previous Head of Household victory), Drew -- the 22-year-old single recent college graduate from Urbana, Ohio ultimately won the coveted position.

With the victory, Drew became the house's second three-time Head of Household winner, following Nakomis, whose three reign ended with Drew's win.

Big Brother 5 is broadcast three nights a week on Tuesdays, (9-10PM ET/PT), Thursdays (8-9PM ET/PT) and Saturdays, (9-10PM ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.
