The former American Idol judge has revealed she was molested as a child and date-raped by a notable music producer in her memoir A Helluva High Note, which will be released April 26, E! News reported Monday.

DioGuardi says she was molested multiple times by the teenage son of a family friend when she was 11 years old.

"On one particular day, he took me into the back shed of his house and put his hands all over my breasts and vagina," DioGuardi wrote, according to E! News. "I remember freezing and not knowing what to do."

DioGuardi also claims she was raped in 2000 by a "fairly known producer" after she joined him for what she thought was just going to be a dinner between friends.

"[W]ithin a few hours, he was on top of me, pumping, sweating, and speaking to me in Spanish, not a word of which I could understand," DioGuardi explained, adding that she asked him to stop but didn't attempt to put up a fight in fear he would hurt her.

DioGuardi remained silent after the incident because she was scared he could ruin her career, E! News reported.

In addition, DioGuardi was allegedly sexually harassed by a "hugely successful artist" after she attended a songwriting trip for three days.

The vacation took a sharp turn when she reportedly found herself participating in activities such as "watching Russian porn, scavenging around the kitchen for food [and] leering at two strippers... as they performed sex acts in the living room," she wrote.

However, the former Idol judge didn't let the series of events stand in her way of success, even though the artist inappropriately forced her to touch him.

"I wasn't gonna let this bastard deter me from doing the job," DioGuardi explained.

While rumors have circulated that DioGuardi -- who will serve as the head judge of Bravo's new singer-songwriter reality competition Platinum Hit, which will premiere on May 30 -- was fired from American Idol last summer following Ellen DeGeneres' departure from the show, her memior also claims she actually requested the show let her out of her contract.

"Leaving was painful and there will always be a part of me that wanted to stay," DioGuardi wrote. "But my desire to be in control of my destiny was larger than my need to be a household name."

The 40-year-old -- who married longtime boyfriend Mike McCuddy in 2009 -- also revealed she has been struggling to get pregnant and believes her Idol job conflicted with her personal goals.

"I wanted a child and there was no way I could get pregnant under the stress of eighteen-hour work days and live TV," DioGuardi wrote. "I had undergone three unsuccessful rounds of [In vitro fertilization] during Season 9."
