Jesse Csincsak claims DeAnna Pappas not only broke his heart, but also an agreement that they would announce their break-up together.

"She told some of our business associates today first... I didn't know this had been released today," Csincsak told Extra in a Monday interview. "We had agreed after she broke up with me... that we would put together a statement and have it released."

Instead of a joint announcement, Pappas revealed her relationship with Csincsak was kaput during an In Touch Weekly report published earlier today.  Csincsak subsequently confirmed the pair had split two days ago via a YouTube video that he posted on the ex-couple's deannaandjesse.com website this afternoon.

"I love that woman. She is an amazing person. I am willing to work through it. I love her," Csincsak told Extra.  "I love the way she made me feel. She made me feel like no other."

Csincsak had proposed marriage to Pappas during July's broadcast of The Bachelorette's pre-taped fourth-season finale.  Pappas accepted and subsequently presented Csincsak with her final rose.

During The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose special that followed the finale, the couple revealed that they'd decided to wed in the Bahamas on May 9, 2009. However although they'd continued to insist they were still committed to the date, Pappas and Csincsak had wavered on the ceremony's location in recent months.

According to Csincsak, Pappas -- in what would appear to be the most awkward The Bachelor or The Bachelorette break-up since second-season The Bachelor star Aaron Buerge dumped Helene Eksterowicz at a Starbucks shop -- broke up with him while he was retrieving her luggage at a Colorado airport.

"We took time apart... She came back to Colorado and told me, 'I love you, but I'm not in love with you,'" he told Extra.  "I picked her up from the airport and she told me while I was getting her bags."

Csincsak claims Pappas wanted to move to Los Angeles and was not willing to attend couples counseling.

"DeAnna said, 'I'm not willing to try anymore.' She had a different idea. I can't argue with her feelings," he told Extra.  "She's the only one who knows how she feels."

Since Pappas was clearly no longer interested, Csincsak said he decided that fighting for their relationship isn't worth it.

"I don't want to fight for a lost cause," he told Extra.  "I just want her to be happy whether it's with or without me."

Now Csincsak said he wonders if Pappas really loved him or was just enamored with her The Bachelorette publicity.

"The only time she was touchy feely with me was around the cameras," he told Extra.

In addition, Csincsak said he is now envious of Jason Mesnick -- who proposed to Pappas during the The Bachelorette's fourth-season finale but was spurned.  Mesnick was subsequently tapped by ABC to star in The Bachelor's upcoming thirteenth season.

"I really envy Jason's position right now," Csincsak told Extra.  "It's an amazing show... You could go and fall in love. I would love the opportunity to fall in love again."
