Jesse Csincsak is blaming fourth-season The Bachelorette star DeAnna Pappas for the end of their romantic relationship.

"I did everything in my power to make this work and she's a great person but she wasn't willing to try anymore," Csincsak said in a somber YouTube video posted on the ex-couple's deannaandjesse.com website on Monday afternoon.

"She wanted something different I guess and the answer that I got was 'I love you but I'm not in love with you.'  That's a lot to swallow, no matter who you are.  When you're in love and you put yourself out there... it's a lot, a lot to take in."

Csincsak had proposed marriage to Pappas during July's broadcast of The Bachelorette's pre-taped fourth-season finale.  Pappas accepted and subsequently presented Csincsak with her final rose.

During The Bachelorette: After the Final Rose special that followed the finale, the couple revealed that they'd decided to wed in the Bahamas on May 9, 2009.

However Pappas revealed the relationship was kaput during an In Touch Weekly report published earlier today.

"I really felt like I was going to spend the rest of my life with him. I thought he was my fairy-tale ending," Pappas told In Touch Weekly. "But after the show was over and we settled in to our normal lives, I slowly came to realize that we are two totally different people and it wasn't going to work out."

Pappas ended their relationship "two days ago," according to Csincsak's video posting, which he titled "DeAnna Breaks up with Jesse yep its true."

He also offered an apology to those who supported the couple.

"I kinda feel like it's our responsibility to tell you that we're not together anymore," he said. "I just wanted to come on here and tell you guys 'face-to-face' that I'm sorry."
