Despite its lack of truth, Giuliana subsequently told OK! Weekly that "those darn pregnancy rumors" have still spread to those who know her best. "My parents called me about a week ago asking me if I was pregnant after a customer walked up to my father at his clothing store in Maryland and congratulated him on my pregnancy," Giuliana told OK!. "My parents couldn't believe they were getting the news that their baby girl was pregnant from a complete stranger!... [I] assured them that they would be the first to know when I do get pregnant." Bill proposed to Giuliana in December 2006 and the couple wed last September at a five-century old church on the Italian island of Capri. The event was documented by Style Network for Marry Me in Capri -- a Trista & Ryan's Wedding-like special that chronicled the behind-the-scenes preparations for the ceremony and aired in October. While Giuliana is unsure where the rumor that she's pregnant with the couple's first child originated, she has a hunch it came from her E! News co-anchor. "I bet Ryan Seacrest started the rumor," Giuliana told People. "Ryan has this thing with co-hosts where he busts their chops -- like with [judges Randy Jackson and Paula Abdul] on American Idol -- and I get it too. So he probably started telling people, 'Oh, so many people around the office are pregnant, so and so, and me! And now when I do get pregnant, no one will care."
