Couldn't get enough of this past winter's hit My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiancé reality spoof show? Then you'll probably want to check out My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss, an upcoming new Fox reality hoax series from the same producers. Filmed under the working title of Big Shot and leaked by NBC Entertainment president Jeff Zucker back in May, My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss will premiere on Sunday, November 7 at 9PM and follow twelve eager young entrepreneurs as they compete in a The Apprentice-like reality show that is actually an elaborate hoax.

"What My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiancé did for romance-reality, My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss will do for business-reality," said Fox entertainment president Gail Berman in announcing the series. "When we saw the footage, we realized it belongs on the funniest night on television, FOX's Sunday night." "We had a lot of fun with Fiancé and this seemed like the next logical take on what's going on in reality right now," she added in a comment to Daily Variety.

A new reality parody series in the same vein as Spike TV's Joe Schmo series, My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss will center around twelve young, overachieving, type-A business professionals competing in a series of frustrating and ridiculous challenges to impress "Mr. N. Paul Todd," a fake Donald Trump-like figure (but sans horrendous comb-over) that they believe to be the founder and CEO of a fake multibillion-dollar company named IOCOR.

Attempting to win both a $250,000 cash prize and a lucrative opportunity to join his supposedly powerful, yet completely unknown investment organization, the dozen will take the competition seriously and plot numerous strategies to win Mr. Todd's approval -- while having no idea, that except for the cash prize, the whole show is an enormous hoax.

In reality, Mr. Todd is, similar to Fiance's Steven Bailey, an actor named William August who will use his improvisational skills to test the unsuspecting candidates through unrealistic conversations, circumstances, and questionable business challenges that will have humiliating consequences for the losing team.

Seemingly aping as much of The Apprentice's format as is allowable under parody copyright law, not only will Mr. Todd have a Carolyn-inspired "extraordinarily bitchy" ice queen vice president and a pampered trophy wife, but after each week's competition, the losing Boss team will have to send two members of its group to the boardroom where they will passionately plead their cases to "Mr. Todd" in an attempt to avoid being told to "get the hell out of my office." However, unbeknownst to the contestants, "Mr. Todd" won't be the one really making the decisions -- instead they will be getting made by a "mystery boss" whose identity Fox promises to be "the biggest surprise of all."

According to Reality TV World tipsters, My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss filmed during July and August in a penthouse apartment on West Ontario Street in downtown Chicago. My Big Fat Obnoxious Boss is produced by Rocket Science Laboratories, the reality production company that, for all intents and purposes, serves as Fox's inhouse reality production company (My Big Fat Obnoxious Fiancé, Renovate My Family, Trading Spouses, Married By America, Joe Millionaire.) Jean-Michel Michenaud and Chris Cowan serve as executive producers.
