Like the original celebrity edition of the United Kingdom series, Hell's Kitchen will be hosted by Gordon Ramsay. a former soccer-player-turned-celebrity-chef. A combination of NBC's The Restaurant and The Apprentice, Hell's Kitchen will feature twelve wannabe restaurateurs competing to win ownership of a new Los Angeles restaurant that the group will be assisting Ramsay in opening.

In addition to working together, Hell's Kitchen's chef-wannabes will also live together in a house that will keep the contestants under cameras 24/7. Each week, the perfectionist Ramsay will slice and dice the contestants, sending home those who he thinks "can't stand the heat."

In addition to Hell's Kitchen, Fox will debut two other new reality series this summer -- The Princes Of Malibu and So You Think You Can Dance -- and also broadcast all-new episodes of last fall's Renovate My Family series.
