FOX has announced the Houston and Atlanta open audition dates for the third edition of "American Idol."
Auditions will continue in New York (August 25) and Honolulu (date TBA). Exact locations will be announced shortly. As usual, participants will vie for a spot on "American Idol" and a chance at the title and a major recording contract. The next season of "American Idol" is set to debut in January of 2004. HOUSTON AUDITIONS WHO: Men and women 16 to 24 years old on August 3, 2003, and eligible to work in the United States. Restrictions apply – please see idolonfox.com for specifics. WHEN: Wednesday, August 13, 2003 WHERE: MINUTE MAID PARK Line forms in the Diamond Club Parking Lot off Hamilton Street near Right Field Gate Houston, TX 77001 LINE: Auditioners can line up beginning Monday, August 11th at 12:00 NOON ATLANTA AUDITIONS WHO: Men and women 16 to 24 years old on August 3, 2003, and eligible to work in the United States.
