Former 'Idol 5' finalist Kellie Pickler not bothered by boob job talk

Kellie Pickler doesn't understand why her seemingly expanded bust is creating such a fuss.

"I don't take any of that personal when people criticize me about the way I look," Pickler told The Charlotte Observer Monday.  "You know what? If you don't have anything better to talk about than my rack... can I say rack?... It doesn't bother me a bit. As long as I'm happy with Kellie than that's most important."

The former American Idol fifth-season finalist first premiered her new look --which in addition to what appeared to be larger breasts included a new, shorter hairstyle and more revealing clothing -- during a live Idol sixth season results show when she performed "I Wonder," a single from her debut album "Small Town Girl."  However before she even opened her mouth to sing, Idol host Ryan Seacrest seemed aghast at the size of Pickler's chest.

"Have you spent your money on anything since you left us?" asked Seacrest.  "Shoes... imagine that," Pickler -- seemingly oblivious to what Seacrest was asking -- answered.  But Seacrest was persistent, taking a quick glimpse at Pickler's bosom.  "Just shoes?" he inquired once again.

While the 20-year-old North Carolina native's chest -- which Idol judge Randy Jackson called it "a little Dolly [Parton]" and fellow judge Simon Cowell used the same description in separate interviews of his own --  has attracted attention in the weeks following her Idol performance, Pickler said she's only concerned about what one person thinks:  herself.

"You're the one that has to look at yourself every day and it's important that you're happy with what you see," she told The Observer. "You can't worry about what everyone else thinks because you cannot please everyone."
