Former 'Big Brother' contestants to appear on CBS's 'Yes, Dear'

By Wade Paulsen, 10/01/2003

Daily Variety (subscription required) reports that several contestants from past seasons of CBS's Big Brother will appear on an upcoming episode of the network's Monday-night comedy Yes, Dear.

In the show, one of the characters is chosen to join the hamsters in the Big Brother house, and a number of past BB houseguests from the second, third and fourth seasons appear during the effort to get him "released." Included among them are Big Brother 2 champion Dr. Will Kirby (also known as "Evil Dr. Will") and Big Brother 3 champion Lisa Donohue. Big Brother 4 champion Jun Song has been approached to appear but has not committed to do so.

Confirmed ex-hamsters appearing on Yes, Dear are:

BB2: Kirby and Hardy Hill
BB3: Donahue, Marcellas Reynolds, Amy Crews and Roddy Mancuso
BB4: Michelle Maradie.

Along with Jun, other hamsters invited to appear from BB4 include runner-up Alison Irwin, her boy-toy Nathan Marlow and Justin Giovinco.

We hope that this show has more luck in geting aired than Dr. Will's last network venture, NBC's six-episode Love Shack, which has never been aired in the U.S. We do note, though, that, according to Digital Spy, NBC sold Love Shack to the UK network LivingTV for broadcast in England beginning Sept. 11, so it isn't completely dead. Maybe it will make it to NBC or NBC's Bravo... someday.
