Former 'American Idol' finalist Tamyra Gray expecting first child

Tamyra Gray is pregnant.

The former American Idol first-season finalist and her husband -- former Color Me Badd singer Sam Watters -- are expecting their first child, Entertainment Weeklyreported Tuesday.
"I'm just trying to take care of myself and enjoy it," Gray told EW. "This is way harder than Idol."
Gray finished fourth during American Idol's first season in 2002 and subsequently landed a recurring role on Fox's Boston Public drama.
She subsequent wed Watters, who currently works as a music producer, in 2006 in Italy.
Gray is due in July and the couple does not plan on learning the sex of the baby, EW reported.
