Ex-'Laguna Beach' star Jason Wahler weighs in on 'The Hills' feud

By Christopher Rocchio, 09/06/2007

Jason Wahler might be engaged to another woman, but the former Laguna Beach and The Hills' star still apparently feels the need to stand-up for his former fling Lauren "L.C." Conrad in her ongoing feud with Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt.

"The whole thing that Heidi and Spencer said about the tape thing, it's just so annoying," Wahler told Ryan Seacrest during the American Idol host's KIIS FM morning radio program on Wednesday, according to People.  "They just need to shut up,"

The "tape thing" Wahler was referring to is an alleged sex tape featuring he and Conrad that she believes Montag and Pratt were responsible for telling the media about.  Conrad and Wahler both claim no such tape exists.

"The most frustrating part is that [Montag and Pratt] are such lowlifes that they have to come up with stuff to try and ruin other people," Wahler told Seacrest, according to People.  "It's just frustrating."

Following a string of alcohol-fueled arrests, Wahler completed a spring stint in rehab and recently proposed to college tennis player Katja Decker-Sadowski.  However he was a guest on Seacrest's radio show to promote his September 10 appearance on The Hills' third season, in which he'll come face-to-face with Conrad for the first time in a long while.

"Lauren was a good friend, she was always there to be supportive and stuff," he told Seacrest, People reported.  "Thing's definitely get stirred up [on Monday night's The Hills episode].  You'll have to wait and see."
