E! has announced it has ordered Holly's World, a new The Girls Next Door spinoff following former Hugh Hefner girlfriend Holly Madison and her new life in Las Vegas.

The series is based on a one-hour special that aired on E! last month and was also titled Holly's World.

"Audiences fell in love with Holly on E! and fans are eager to follow her next chapter," said network programming executive Lisa Berger. "The series will feature Holly and her family of friends as they take on new loves, careers and ambitions together."

Holly's World will document various aspects of Madison's life -- including her starring role in Vegas' Peepshow stage show, traveling to Mexico for a calendar shoot, getting involved in local politics, and maintaining a busy social life.

Madison appeared in the first five seasons of E!'s The Girls Next Door -- along with Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilson -- as one of Hefner's girlfriends.

While Madison and Hefner discussed marriage and she openly stated on several occasions that she wanted to have children with him, he eventually revealed that there would be no wedding and the two split in late 2008.

Madison, Marquardt and Wilson all subsequently moved out of the Playboy mansion prior to The Girls Next Door's sixth-season premiere last October.

Holly's World is being executive produced by Kevin Burns -- who also produces The Girls Next Door as well as Wilkinson's Kendra spinoff.
