'The Girls Next Door' stars Hugh Hefner, Holly Madison won't wed

By Christopher Rocchio, 05/15/2008

Hugh Hefner may be completely smitten with Holly Madison, however he apparently has no plans to tie the knot with his No. 1 girlfriend.

"I love Holly very much and I think we're going to be together the rest of my life. But marriage isn't part of my puzzle," Hefner told OK! Weekly at the recent 2008 Playboy Playmate of the Year party.

The 82-year-old founder and editor-in-chief of Playboy and the 28-year-old Madison -- who co-star in E!'s The Girls Next Door reality series along with fellow girlfriends Bridget Marquardt and Kendra Wilkinson -- had previously discussed marriage.  However those conversations apparently won't yield any results.

"We are no closer to getting married than we were two years ago," Madison told OK!.  "It's like a car stalled at the side of the road."

Madison moved into the Playboy Mansion in 2001 and over the years gradually became Hefner's "No. 1 girlfriend."  On episodes of The Girls Next Door, Madison has hinted at both wanting to wed and have children with Hefner.

"It's not a personal thing.  I just haven't had much luck with marriages," Hefner -- who divorced his first wife in 1959 and has been separated from his second wife for almost 20 years -- told OK!.
