"The Simple Life," which moved from Fox to E! a month ago, is being renewed for a new season after tripling the Los Angeles network's ratings.

The fourth season of "The Simple Life," titled "Til Death Do Us Part," boosted the network's time slot ratings more than 50 percent over previous programming. Since June 6, E!'s ratings have continued to climb.

E! Chief Executive Officer Ted Harbert is expected to announce the renewal of the Paris Hilton-Nicole Richie show at a TV Critics Association press event, Daily Variety reported.

The renewal is a triumph for producers Bunim-Murray Prods. and 20th Century Fox TV after Fox Broadcasting canceled the show last fall.

E! also bought 36 episodes from the first three seasons of "The Simple Life," Daily Variety reported in November.
