There's apparently no denying it this time -- Karina Smirnoff and Mario Lopez have called it quits on their romantic relationship.

"Karina has parted ways with her two year relationship with Mario Lopez," Smirnoff's spokesperson told People Thursday.  "The relationship wasn't heading in the right direction."

In late April People reported Smirnoff and Lopez had split, only to have both deny the reports the following day.  The couple was seen frolicking in Miami last month.

"Karina and I have the utmost respect for each other," said Lopez in a statement released to People by his own rep.  "She is a phenomenal and talented woman. I support her always and feel blessed to have her in my life."

The Dancing with the Stars third-season couple -- who finished second to Emmitt Smith and his professional partner Cheryl Burke -- consistently played coy with the media throughout their romantic relationship.

They were seen vacationing with one another in Mexico following the third season's November 2006 finale and Smirnoff moved into Lopez' Los Angeles home last May.

Smirnoff and her celebrity partner -- R&B singer Mario -- denied rumors they were romantically involved with one another and ultimately finished fifth during Dancing with the Stars recently concluded sixth season.

Lopez is currently starring in Broadway's A Chorus Line and is also serving as host for Randy Jackson Presents: America's Best Dance Crew -- the second season of which is scheduled to debut Thursday, June 19 at 10PM ET/PT on MTV.
