"For the record, I am not moving out. Everything is great," Smirnoff subsequently told People, pointing to a bouquet of roses in her production trailer. "These roses are from [Lopez] and they certainly are not a farewell gift."
Fueling speculation that the couple was calling it quits was that Smirnoff was recently spotted with E! Entertainment personality Michael Yo, according to People, which had originally reported the two were seen "dancing and canoodling" at a recent event at Hollywood's Beso eatery.
However People has now backtracked and claimed the two were only seen "dancing."
"Michael and I have known each for a long time, and there's nothing romantic whatsoever," Smirnoff told People. "He's a great guy and I really respect him, but we're just friends."
While Smirnoff and Lopez are currently working on opposite ends of the country -- with Smirnoff still in the running for Dancing with the Stars sixth-season title with R&B singer Mario and Lopez starring in Broadway's A Chorus Line -- he said there's no problems with their relationship.
