WE tv has announced it will premiere Cyndi Lauper: Still So Unusual, a new reality show which will follow the pop icon and mother's daily life, on Saturday, January 12 at 9PM ET/PT.

In addition, a second episode of the series will air directly following its debut at 9:30PM ET/PT on the network.

Each 30-minute episode of Cyndi Lauper: Still So Unusual will "give viewers an all-access pass into the personal and professional life of one of pop culture's most beloved and influential icons as she juggles her many roles, including rock star, mother, wife, Broadway composer, New York Times best-selling author and philanthropist," according to WE tv.

The former The Celebrity Apprentice contestant's upcoming series will also feature her husband of 20 years, actor David Thornton, and her 14-year-old son Declyn -- whom Lauper attempts to give adequate attention to despite her hectic career schedule.

Cyndi Lauper: Still So Unusual's season will include following Lauper as she launches the Broadway musical "Kinky Boots," serves as Grand Marshall of the Pegasus Parade at the Kentucky Derby, performs on the current third season of NBC's The Voice, writes her autobiography, and raises money for her True Colors charity.

Lauper and reality TV producer Mark Burnett, who also produces The Apprentice, had announced plans to have the singer star in her own reality show back in June 2010.

Cyndi Lauper: Still So Unusual is being produced by Burnett's One Three Media with Annabelle McDonald serving as an executive producer.
