Kelly Clarkson apparently has a winning solution for the self-described "lose-lose situation" she was in regarding a cigarette company sponsoring and promoting her upcoming Indonesian concert.

Tobacco company PT Djarum -- which was originally sponsoring and promoting the April 29 Jakarta concert under its LA Lights cigarette brand -- has reached a "final agreement" to cancel its sponsorship of the event, promoter Adrie Subono told The Associated Press in a Thursday report.

"There will be no (LA Lights) media promotion at the Kelly Clarkson concert," he told The AP

The original American Idol champ began receiving heat over the Jakarta concert when anti-smoking advocates learned it was sponsored by LA Lights -- with commercials, billboards and posters promoting the concert featuring Clarkson's image under the cigarette company's branding.

While Clarkson subsequently stated that LA Lights was sponsoring the concert "unbeknownst" to her and added she is "in no way an advocate or an ambassador for youth smoking," she had also claimed there was no way she could rectify the situation.

"Unfortunately, my only option at this point was to cancel the show in order to stop the sponsorship. However, I can't justify penalizing my fans for someone else's oversight," she wrote in a Wednesday post to her personal blog.

"This is a lose-lose situation for me and I am not happy about it but the damage has been done and I refuse to cancel on my fans."

In addition, Clarkson stated she felt like a "political pawn."
