Although the Big Brother house is still occupied by the current season's final five houseguests, CBS has announced the long-running reality show's tenth season will premiere on Sunday, July 13 at 8PM ET/PT.

Following its debut, Big Brother will move into its regular thrice-weekly broadcast schedule -- with Tuesday night episodes airing at 9PM ET/PT beginning July 15 and Wednesday night episodes airing at 8PM ET/PT beginning the next night and serving as the tenth-season's live eviction show.  Julie Chen will reprise her hosting role.

Big Brother: 'Til Death Do You Part -- the show's currently airing ninth installment and first ever non-summer edition -- premiered in February as replacement programming prior to the Writers Guild of America strike, which subsequently ended shortly thereafter

Reports began to surface last month that CBS was still planning to air a tenth installment of the long-running reality show as part of its primetime summer programming lineup.

Big Brother 10 is one of four reality shows that CBS plans to broadcast this summer.

In addition to Big Brother, CBS will also premiere Greatest American Dog, a new reality competition series that will pit pageant pooches and their owners against one another for a $250,000 grand prize, on Thursday, July 10 at 8PM ET/PT; Million Dollar Password, a modern version of the 1960s-1970s game show that will be hosted by Regis Philbin, on Sunday, June 1 at 8PM ET/PT; and Jingles, a Mark Burnett-created reality show that will see contestants concocting commercial ditties for real products, on Sunday, July 27 at 9PM ET/PT.
