The fourth-season American Idol champion won Video of the Year honors for "Cowboy Casanova," representing the second time she took home the award.  In 2007, she won it for "Before He Cheats."

"Awesome fans -- awesome, awesome, amazing, awesome, awesome," gushed Underwood as the audience cheered. "Thanks for seeing me out on tour, you guys are the best. Thank you CMT!"

In addition, Underwood's performance of "Temporary Home" on CMT's Invitation Only: Carrie Underwood special won her the Performance of the Year award.

"This is really, of course, very special for me. Thank you CMT, thank you fans," said Underwood.

"The song means so much to me. Thank you to all the fan club members that were there for Invitation Only. You guys are awesome. You guys are what makes all of us and nobody can do what we do without you guys."

Lambert's "White Liar" claimed the Female Video of the Year honor, giving the former first-season Nashville Star finalist her first CMT Music Awards win.

"My first buckle! This rocks!" exclaimed Lambert. "Thank you to the fans, this is awesome!"

Lambert recently got engaged to former Nashville Star judge Blake Shelton, and she referenced the upcoming wedding when accepting the award for her runaway bride-themed video.

"I just hope that my next wedding doesn't end up like that video," she said with a laugh.
